School Schedule

Arrival

Doors / gates open at 7:25 AM. Tardies begin at 8:00 AM. 

We kindly ask that all scholars arrive by 7:45 a.m. in order to have time for breakfast before instruction begins. 

• Scholars may be dropped off curbside on Nolte Drive from 7:25-7:45. The gates will close promptly at 7:45. After 7:45, students must be dropped off in the school parking lot  drop off lane.

 Breakfast

Breakfast will be served in the classroom for grades PK3, PK4, and Kindergarten. 

All students in grades 1-5 must go to the cafeteria to pick up their breakfast from the cafeteria lunch line. They may eat it in their classrooms from 7:45-8:00.

Dismissal

Winnetka has almost 700 students to dismiss, so we do staggered dismissal to alleviate traffic. The times are as follows: 

• 3:00 pm PK 3, PK4, Kinder
• 3:10 pm 1st-2nd Grade
• 3:20 pm 3rd, 4th, 5th Grade

Adults MUST have dismissal cards present in order to pick up students. 

Early Pick Up - Students may be picked up before 2:30 PM by checking out the students at the front desk. Must have ID present and be on Powerschool for pick up.

Attendance

Current Attendance Percentage at the end of the 2024-2025 School Year: 95.5%

Attendance Goal for the 2025 - 2026 School Year: 98%

Monthly incentives will be provided to the top class of each grade level that has the highest attendance percentage rate. Help us meet our goal!
